The International Mums and Kids Club (IMKC) was founded in July 1996 by 19 founding members. It now has over 70 members. The Club is a non-profit organization and runs on a volunteer basis. "The International Mums & Kids Club is a playgroup which provides a supportive environment with other mums and kids to develop lasting friendships. The IMKC proudly welcomes all mothers from all countries. Designated playgroups for the children enable them to learn, play, and interact with other children. English is our main language of communication." The IMKC organizes also family parties throughout the year: Easter, Summer, Halloween and Christmas Parties. Additionally, we organize Mums Night Out gatherings such as dinners, museums or movies. About our Membership:As a non-profit organization, the IMKC is financed by the membership fees. Our Club’s year runs from 1 September to the following 31 August. There are two types of membership: active and passive. Active membership - As an active member you are entitled to participate
in the weekly group meetings regardless of how many children you have.
You will receive the quarterly newsletter and you will be able to attend
club functions. Occasionally some special activities might charge a small
additional fee. Passive membership - As a passive member you will receive our quarterly
newsletter, the invites to our parties and evening outings. This membership
does not include the weekly playgroups. |
